Western Oregon Heads South to Meet #5 North Alabama

This will be the third farthest trip east Western Oregon has ever made.

Opening Drive

* Saturday will be the first ever meeting between North Alabama and Western Oregon.
* It marks the first time the Wolves have ever played an opponent from the state of Alabama.
* This is the first time WOU has played in the Central Time zone since visiting Abilene Christian (Texas) in 2011.
* This will be the third farthest trip east Western Oregon has ever made. Carson Newman (Tenn.) and Grand Valley State (Mich.) top the travels.
* North Alabama completes the home-and-home series on Oct. 10, 2015, in Monmouth.
* Paul Revis is third in the country averaging 225.5 all-purpose yards per game. The redshirt freshman leads the Great Northwest Athletic Conference with that stat.
* Ryan Bergman leads the Great Northwest Athletic Conference averaging 309 passing yards per game.
* Bergman is seventh in NCAA Div. II with 13 touchdown passes through four games.
* He is also fourth in the nation in points responsible for (72), and points responsible per game.
* The Wolves' 319 passing yards per game is 19th in the country.
