Wolves WR Tyrell Williams Named GNAC Offensive Player of the Week

Williams now ranks 10th in GNAC history in career receiving yards with 2,129 yards and his average per catch of 16.8 ranks ninth.

— Western Oregon University football student-athlete, Tyrell Williams, has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Williams caught five passes for 119 yards, including touchdown receptions of 72 and five yards in the second quarter and eight yards in the fourth quarter.

The latter score gave the Wolves a 33-21 lead with 8:27 remaining in the game.  WOU (2-1) went on to beat Central Washington, 36-34.
 
Williams now ranks 10th in GNAC history in career receiving yards with 2,129 yards and his average per catch of 16.8 ranks ninth. The senior moved to fourth all-time in WOU history in career receiving yards.
 
The Wolves travel to Humboldt State (3-0) for a non-conference matchup Saturday.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
