#23 Loyola Marymount Downs Portland State in Straight Sets
(September 19, 2014, 4:00 am) PULLMAN, Wash. Portland State will play its final non-conference match of the season Friday morning when the Vikings take on the Washington State Cougars.

For the second straight match the Vikings fell to a top-ranked opponent, this time in straight sets to No. 23 Loyola Marymount at the Cougar Classic in Pullman, Wash.

The No. 14 Oregon volleyball team took down Portland State in four sets, Monday, 25-22, 25-23, 23-25, 25-16.

Connor Halliday threw three second-quarter touchdown passes, breaking open a close game and leading the Washington State Cougars to a 59-21 victory over Portland State at Martin Stadium.

Cal State Northridge Beats Portland State in Straight Sets
(September 12, 2014, 12:00 am) NORMAN, Okla. Portland State will play two more matches at the Nike Invitational Friday beginning with Lamar University at 12:00 p.m. CT.

The Vikings fell victim to a slow start and fell in straight sets to the California State University-Northridge Matadors Thursday afternoon at the Nike Invitational in Norman, Okla.

Mannion Rallies Oregon State Past Portland State, 29-14
(August 31, 2014, 7:00 am) CORVALLIS, Ore. An opening-day crowd of 40,309 saw the Beavers (1-0) parlay five second-half turnovers into 16 unanswered points to erase a 14-13 halftime deficit.

Senior quarterback Sean Mannion ran for one touchdown, passed for another and threw for 328 total yards on Saturday to lead Oregon State’s 29-14 victory over Portland State at Reser Stadium.
