(SHERIDAN, Ore) — The Oregon State Police are reporting that two Willamina residents sustained minor injuries from a fiery crash just outside of Sheridan on Wednesday.
Mr. Paul Dolan ,age 80, and his wife, age 81, from Willamina, was driving eastbound on SR Hwy 18 when he approached a vehicle stopped waiting to turn onto Pittman Road.
Mr. Dolan swerved to the right and missed the stopped vehicle however he over corrected losing control of the vehicle that then crossed the highway twice and went down a 25 foot embankment.
Mr. Dolan's vehicle came to rest upside down and caught on fire.
Witnesses stopped and managed to pull Mr. and Mrs. Dolan from the vehicle before it was fully engulfed.
