Salem, Wheelchair vs Vehicle on Lancaster

(SALEM, Ore.) — A pedestrian in a motorized wheelchair was struck on Lancaster in Salem this afternoon. We are told that the victim has a broken leg.

The driver of the pickup cooperated with police. The victim was transported by ambulance to the local hospital.

Traffic was interrupted for about an hour.
