(Tigard, Ore.) — The Tigard Police Department, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to locate a wanted murder suspect.
On Friday, January 30, 2015, at approximately 5:45 p.m., 36-year-old Jerry Duy Nguyen was shot outside the home of his ex-wife. The incident took place at the Canterbury Heights Condominiums, located 10790 Southwest Canterbury Lane in Tigard.
The shooting was witnessed by several bystanders, including the victim's ex-wife. Nguyen was allegedly shot by an acquaintance, 29 year-old Orlando Lee Pouncey. Pouncey's last known residence also on Canterbury Lane is nearby to where the shooting took place.
On February 4, 2015, a Washington County grand jury indicted Pouncey on charges of Murder, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Pouncey is described as 5'11" tall and weighing 190 lbs. There is no known vehicle associated with the suspect at this time.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
