Madrona Avenue Closed Though Tuesday
The street wiil be closed for raialroad crossing repairs
(SALEM, Ore) — Madrona Avenue SE will be closed to all through traffic at the Union Pacific railroad crossing between 25th Street SE and Fairview Industrial Drive SE.
The closure will start Monday, February 16, 2015, 7 a.m. and run through Tuesday, February 17, 2015, 5 p.m.
Detour routes using Pringle Road SE, McGilchrist Street SE, and 25th Street SE will be in place.
This street closure is for repairs to the railroad crossing and will be closed 24/7 until this work is completed.
This project is the first of six locations where Union Pacific crews will be rebuilding rail crossings over the next three months.
Expect extreme congestion and use another route if possible to avoid delays.
