Marion County Firefighters Extinguish House Fire
4 youths found a fire upstairs and fled the home
(SALEM, Ore) — Earlt Saturday afternoon Marion County firefighters responded to the 6000blk of Culver Dr SE in Salem.
While enroute firefighters where told the 4 youth occupants had found a fire upstairs and had fled the home.
Upon arrival firefighters found heavy fire and smoke conditions.
Crews rapidly extended hose lines and began the firefighting efforts.
The fire was brought under control within 30mins.
During the extinguishing of the fire crews located and rescued multiple family pets still trapped inside the home.
No firefighter or civilian injuries where reported. 1 Battalion Chief, 3 Engines, 1 Rescue, 1 Water Tender and 2 Medic units responded with a total of 24 Firefighters.
Fire cause is still under investigation.
