Firefighters Extricate Drivers Involved in Collision

— At 9:18pm Friday TVF&R firefighters responded to multiple reports of a vehicle accident on Murray Blvd near Terman Road. On arrival crews found three involved vehicles, two with significant damage.

After a quick assessment firefighters realized they had entrapped patients in two of the cars and immediately called for a 2nd alarm to bring more resources to the scene. Crews simultaneously extricated patients from the two cars using hydraulic tools and prepared for transport.

A third patient was found outside one of the cars on initial arrival and also treated for injuries and transported.

All three patients were transported as trauma system entries, with two going to Legacy Emanuel and one to OHSU. The were no reported injuries from passengers in the third car.

Beaverton Police, Washington County Sheriff's Deputies, Metro West and Life-flight all responded to the incident.
