(JUNCTION CITY, Ore) — Oregon State Police troopers are continuing the investigation of a four vehicle fatal motor vehicle crash on Highway 99W at milepost 112 near Junction City in Lane County.
Today at approximately 6:59 a.m., Oregon State Police troopers were dispatched to a four vehicle crash on highway 99W at milepost 112 with a single confirmed fatality.
The crash occurred when a 2002 Toyota Tacoma, travelling northbound and driven by Clinton Stefanek, 31, from Eugene, crossed the center median and struck a southbound 2014 Nissan Juke, driven by Kimberly Anne Barclay, 39, from Corvallis.
Barclay died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
Subsequent to the initial crash, both vehicles were struck by additional cars heading southbound.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and pending the results of the collision reconstruction.
OSP was assisted at the scene by the Junction City Fire Department, Junction City PD, Lane Rural Fire District, the Lane County District Attorney and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
