Homicide Investigation Underway in SE Portland

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) — Portland police are investigating the death Tuesday night of an adult male in the 6100 block of Southeast 52nd Ave.
Officers were called to the report of a shooting just after 11:00 p.m. When officers and medical personnel arrived, they located a victim suffering critical injuries.
Police did not say when the man died from his injuries.
Multiple officers, including a police K-9 unit, searched the neighborhood for a suspect or suspects in the shooting.
Southeast 52nd Ave, from Woodstock Boulevard to Duke Street, is CLOSED to all traffic at this time.
Portland Police Homicide Detectives and members from the Forensic Evidence Division are conducting the homicide investigation.
No additional updates are expected until mid-morning on Wednesday at the earliest.
