For several weeks, the City of Tualatin has worked with Cabela’s to develop traffic, and parking management plans with the goal of managing congestion. Cabela’s will provide traffic and crowd management to keep cars flowing into and out of the site. They have also secured space for overflow parking, and shuttles which will transport employees and customers between these off-site parking locations and the store Thursday through Sunday.
The city has been working closely with the Oregon Department of Transportation and Washington County to plan for the increased traffic during this event. Washington County will be monitoring and altering signal timing, as needed, at adjacent intersections throughout the day.
Those in the area should expect traffic delays, and are encouraged to plan ahead and seek alternate routes for travel. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this exciting and busy grand-opening celebration.
