— Oregon Highway 99W in Dundee is CLOSED due to a gas leak near the newly built fire station.

A backhoe apparently severed a 2 inch service line. Drivers are advised to use Hwy 240 to for all traffic around Dundee.

There are no injuries reported.

NW Natural Gas Company has been notified along with ODOT.

It is not known at this time when the highway will open back up.

The main issue at this time is the street closure while repairs are made.

Commercial vehicles cannot use the detour, and large trucks are urged to use an alternative route.
