— The McMinnville Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a missing McMinnville man who was last heard from around August 25.

59-year-old Louis Paul Geary, who goes by "Paul", hasn't been heard from since about August 25 according to family and friends, which is out of character and concerning.

His home on NE Macy Street near NE 5th Street was checked, and indications at the home lead police to believe he hasn't been there for some time.

His vehicle was found abandoned in the area of NW 2nd Street and Hill Road in McMinnville, and statements to police from people in that area indicate it has been abandoned there for some time.

If anyone believes they have seen Geary since August 25, McMinnville Police are asking them to contact them immediately with any details.

If anyone has information on the current whereabouts of Geary, or if they see him, please don't contact him, call police and they will make contact with him.

Emergency calls can be made to 911, and non-emergency calls during business hours can be made to the police department at (503) 434-7307. The 24 hour non-emergency dispatch phone number is (503) 434-6500.

Please direct any inquiries or information regarding Geary to Sergeant Josh Sheets or Sergeant Scott Fessler.
