— On Thursday, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office assisted the Gresham Police Department in executing a search warrant on an alleged illegal "chop-shop" filled with stolen vehicles.

This was a major break in a long investigation by Gresham Police.

Gresham officers and Clackamas County SWAT team members served the warrant at 35000 Bell Maple Dr. in Boring.

Among the vehicles recovered in the bust: a snowmobile, a '57 Chevy, and two other confirmed stolen vehicles. Other vehicles were also found on the property; investigators are still confirming their ownership. All were in various states of disassembly.

Law enforcement officials also found several additional parts from other vehicles on the property.

A further search of the property also revealed a small illegal marijuana grow.

Detectives have detained several people at the address, and are questioning them at this time, but so far police have made no arrests.

Because a child is living at the property, authorities also called in the Oregon Department of Human Services to investigate.

Detectives are currently working with victims to help identify the stolen vehicles and parts.

Sheriff's Office detectives are also assisting Gresham police in processing evidence at the scene.
