(SILVERTON, Ore. ) — Washington County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue will be conducting a search of the areas around to Silver Falls State Park on Saturday for a missing Aloha, Oregon man.
On Tuesday, 25-year-old Pearce Leckenby, contacted the Washington County Sheriff's Office to report his father has been missing since about noon on Saturday, September 6.
Pearce told a sheriff's deputy that he drove his father, 45-year-old Ronald Leckenby, from Aloha, to Silver Falls State Park in Marion County on September 6.
Pearce said his father got out of the vehicle and after making some comments, walked through a heavily wooded area near the park.
Ronald left his wallet, cellular phone and other personal items in the vehicle.
Ronald has not shown up for work, and has not contacted anyone close to him, and police said it is very unusual for Ronald to be out of contact with his family and friends for this extended period of time.
Washington County Violent Crimes Detectives began assisting with the case.
They have been, and are still conducting extensive interviews to gather information that will assist in locating Ronald Leckenby.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office searched the Silver Falls Park area but was not able to locate Ronald Leckenby.
Ronald Leckenby is described as 5'9“, 190 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last reported wearing a brown suit when he went missing.

Detectives are asking anyone may have seen Ronald Leckenby or the Nissan Altima on Saturday September 6, between the community of Aloha or around the Silver Falls State Park area, to please contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
