The victim yelled at the suspect, who ran through her residence and out the front door.
(PORTLAND, Ore. ) — At approximately 2:00 a.m. Monday morning, Portland Police Central Precinct officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of Southeast 29th Avenue after a woman called 9-1-1 to report that she woke up in her bed to someone touching her body.
Several officers, including a Police K-9 responded to the area and began searching for the suspect.
The victim told police that she was sleeping and she awoke to an unknown male touching her body.
The victim yelled at the suspect, who ran through her residence and out the front door. The victim chased the suspect to the front door and last saw him running through a parking lot towards Southeast 29th Avenue.
The victim was not physically injured in this incident.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, unknown race, 5'10" tall, medium build, brown hair approximately 6" to 7" long, wearing a t-shirt and pants (unknown type or color).
Several officers and the Police K-9 searched the neighborhood but did not locate anyone matching the suspect's description.
There have been no similar reports of this type in the neighborhood.
