The Oregon House of Representatives on Thursday passed a bill to create an additional sustainable funding mechanism for the Oregon Health Plan by increasing taxes on tobacco products and creating taxes on e-cigarettes and vaping products.

Oregon House advances legislation to grow tiny home industry

The Oregon House approved bipartisan legislation directing the Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) to establish standards for building "tiny homes" in Oregon. HB 2737 is intended to provide tiny home manufacturers and purchasers with certainty surrounding building codes and regulations, and allow the industry to continue to grow and expand.

Today, the Oregon House passed House Bill 2007, aimed at giving Oregon workers a voice to speak up about wage disparities. The bill passed 34-24.
