A man suspected in two bank robberies on Thursday, October 16, 2014, is now suspected in a third robbery, this time in Cottage Grove, Oregon. The Friday, October 17, 2014, robbery occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank branch inside the Safeway store located at 1500 E. Main in Cottage Grove at about 2:45 pm.
Driver, Vehicle Sought in Fatal Pedestrian Hit and Run Crash (September 29, 2014, 6:00 am) COTTAGE GROVE, Ore.
The deceased pedestrian is identified as 39-year-old Reuben Orr from Eugene.
Oregon State Police are asking for the public's help to locate the vehicle and driver involved in Saturday night's fatal hit and run pedestrian-involved crash along Shoreview Drive east of Cottage Grove in Lane County.

60-year-old Paul Alvarado from Myrtle Creek, was traveling northbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 161 when the operator failed to merge from the right lane to the left lane entering an active highway work zone.
Oregon State Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of Friday afternoon's fatal motorcycle-involved traffic crash that occurred northbound on Interstate 5 about thirteen miles south of Cottage Grove.
