Portland sophomore Parkes Kendrick scored the game-winner in the 57th minute, freshman goalkeeper Taylor Luty made three saves and the Pilots dominated time of possession to claim a 1-0 win over the Dartmouth Big Green at the Husky Nike Invitational at Husky Soccer Field on Friday afternoon.

Pilots Draw with Florida Gulf Coast Eagles

Pilots Draw with Evansville at Nike Invitational
(August 31, 2014, 5:30 pm) PORTLAND, Ore. The Pilots (1-0-1) out-shot the Purple Aces (0-1-1) 20-10, and freshman Erik Edwardson led the way with six shots.

Portland senior Steven Corbett broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the 59th minute, but Evansville's Charlie Macias tallied the equalizer six minutes later as the Pilots and Purple Aces played to a 1-1 draw at the Nike Invitational on Sunday afternoon at Merlo Field.
