(October 11, 2014, 6:47 pm) VENETA, Ore- On October 10, 2014 approximately 2:45 p.m., a 2006 Mercedes Benz driven by Jerry Byron (J.B.) Howell, age 80, from Walton, was traveling westbound on Highway 126W near milepost 48 when it traveled across the eastbound lane and off the road, crashing into a tree.
(September 17, 2014, 12:30 pm) VENETA, Ore. Initial investigation indicates the crash happened overnight at an unknown time as the 2001 Chevrolet Impala traveled westbound, went off the highway and rolled several times.
Oregon State Police are continuing their investigation into an unreported serious injury crash found Tuesday morning by an ODOT employee and OSP trooper off the side of Highway 126W about ten miles west of Veneta.
