UPDATE: Highway 22E Near Mill City CLOSED for Next 10 to 12 Hours
(October 1, 2014, 9:00 am) MILL CITY, Ore. A commercial truck transporting a 70,000 pound condenser by Bigge Crane and Rigging Company was traveling downhill when the rear car started to swerve and lost control.

Highway 22E three miles west of Mill City is partially blocked while workers try to clear a commercial truck crash in which a 70,000 pound cylindrical condenser rolled onto the highway.

New York Man Arrested in Oregon for Human Trafficking
(September 30, 2014, 7:38 pm) PORTLAND, Ore. With the assistance of Homeland Security Federal Agents, the suspect was identified as 24-year-old Clive Taguoa Morrison.

Since the beginning of August 2014, members of the Portland Police Bureau Prostitution Coordination Team have been investigating a suspected human trafficker from the state of New York.

Hillsboro Man Leads Police on Chase with 5-Year-Old Son Inside Car
(September 29, 2014, 12:55 pm) WEST LINN, Ore. The vehicle reportedly was using multiple traffic lanes, nearly hit other vehicles, and struck construction zone barrels.

Oregon State Police, with the assistance of Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and West Linn Police Department, arrested a 24-year old Hillsboro man Sunday night for felony attempt to elude, DUII and other charges following several driving complaints on Interstate 5.

Oregon Police Track Down Suspect by Using His Strong Cologne Scent
(September 29, 2014, 11:50 am) LEBANON, Ore. The susepct told police that he regretted applying too much cologne prior to leaving his house.

While attempting to stop a vehicle for failing to obey a traffic control device and speeding, a Lebanon Police Officer initiated a pursuit of the suspect vehicle after it failed to yield to emergency lights and siren.

Approximately 1,600 Pacific Power customers in the Scio area will have their electricity interrupted during the early morning hours on Tuesday, while Pacific Power crews upgrade equipment in the Scio substation to make for more safe and reliable system operation.
