On September 4 at approximately 1:00 a.m., detectives with the Marion County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Unit were called to a barn fire on Lori Lane NE near Silverton.

Portland firefighters responded to two separate fires early Thursday morning, that has fire officials reminding everyone that continued hot, dry weather in Oregon over the next week, to make sure any flammable materials are properly disposed of.
