Linfield Blasts Oregon Tech, 4-0
(September 5, 2014, 11:03 pm) McMINNVILLE, Ore. Linfield completes its first back-to-back of the season when it plays host to the University of Dallas Saturday afternoon.

Moi Diaz (Fr., McMinnville, Ore.) supplied his second game-winning goal of the week and Brian DeGrandmont (So., Portland, Ore.) scored twice in the second period to lift the Wildcats to a 4-0 shutout against Oregon Tech Friday evening at the Linfield soccer field.

Lady Beavers Stay Unbeaten with Win over Pacific Tigers

The Oregon State University volleyball team (4-0) continued their strong start to the 2014 season Friday evening in a straight-set victory over the University of Pacific Tigers (3-2).

Five People, Pets Saved from Beaverton Apartment Complex Fire
(September 5, 2014, 8:58 pm) BEAVERTON, Ore. Two dogs and several reptiles were also safely evacuated.

A frantic woman called 9-1-1 just after 3:40 p.m. Friday afternoon reporting that she was trapped in her apartment located at 4725 SW 139th in Beaverton as it filled with smoke.

The Stayton Fire District responded to a two alarm brush fire on private land off Wagner Road, and right under and near high voltage transmission power lines Thursday night.

(September 5, 2014, 4:57 pm) OAKRIDGE, Ore. The truck was reportedly negotiating a downhill curve in the single westbound lane when the driver lost control, crossing the centerline and overturning on the left side.

Oregon State Police are continuing their investigation into Friday morning's truck crash that resulted in the death of a Silverton man on Highway 58 about twenty five miles east of Oakridge.
