The Ducks will host Southern California and Oregon State to close out the 2015 season, after playing a marquee game at Michigan State in September.
(EUGENE, Ore. ) — A return game with Michigan State and a daunting second half of the season highlight Oregon’s 2015 football schedule, as released Tuesday evening by the Pac-12 Conference.
The Ducks will open next season at home on Sept. 5 against Eastern Washington before travelling to play at Michigan State. Oregon beat the Spartans in a battle of top-10 teams at Autzen Stadium on Sept. 6 of this year.
The final five games of the 2015 schedule are daunting, and mark the return to Oregon’s schedule of Arizona State and USC following a two-year absence as part of the regular Pac-12 rotation. The Ducks play a Thursday night game at the Sun Devils on Oct. 29, return home to face Cal, play at Stanford and then close out the regular season at home against the Trojans and Oregon State.
The Civil War will be played on Friday, Nov. 27.
With USC and Arizona State back on the schedule, the Ducks will miss UCLA and Arizona in 2015 and 2016.
After opening against Eastern Washington and then travelling to East Lansing, Mich., the Ducks return home to face Georgia State and Utah before playing their Pac-12 road opener at Colorado. Washington State comes to Autzen Stadium on Oct. 10, and the Ducks will be at Washington the following Saturday.
The Ducks will have a bye almost exactly at midseason, on Oct. 24, as will Arizona State before the two teams meet the following Thursday in Tempe, Ariz.
Kickoff times and television information will be announced at a later date.
