(EUGENE, Ore. ) — Oregon Junior quarterback Marcus Mariota was named Walter Camp National Player of the Week and Davey O'Brien Quarterback of the Week in the wake of his 318-yard, three-touchdown passing performance that helped lift the Ducks over then-No. 7 Michigan State.
The Honolulu native totaled 360 yards of total offense and passed Joey Harrington (1998-01) for fourth in career passing yards at UO.
Mariota also won the O'Brien weekly honor after last year's Week 6 win over Washington. He is the first Oregon player to win the Walter Camp weekly award since Kenjon Barner rushed for 321 yards and scored five touchdowns in UO's win at USC on Nov. 3, 2012.
The #2 Oregon Ducks meet Wyoming on Saturday.
