— Oregon State University Athletics announced on Monday, the return of the popular BeaversSalute outreach for the home football game Sept. 20 against the San Diego State Aztecs, and to the women’s volleyball games Sept. 12 vs. the Michigan Wolverines and Sept. 13 vs. the Michigan State Spartans.

For these games we are honoring the brave men and women multi-agency first responders and fire crews that fought last weekend’s brush fire in north Corvallis. The efforts of these individuals saved countless homes and other structures.

“The entire community is very proud of the men and women who fought the dangerous fire and this is a way Beaver Athletics can say thank you for their efforts,’ OSU Deputy Athletic Director Mark Massari said. “We invite the support of helping our football and volleyball teams remain undefeated.”

BeaversSalute is offering four free tickets per family for each event.

OSU Athletics is making a total of 500 first-come first-serve tickets to each game.

Tickets must be reserved at 1-800-GO-BEAVS or in person at the Gill Coliseum ticket office (room 107) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays.
