Opening Drive:
* Saturday will be the first of two meetings between CWU and Western Oregon. This matchup is a non-conference game, while the Oct. 18 game in Ellensburg is a GNAC counter.
* Western Oregon and the Wildcats meet for the 56th time Saturday.
* Central Washington has won 34 of the all-time meetings, and are 14-12 in the series at WOU.
* The Wildcats have won 18 of the last 20 matchups, but it was Western Oregon that was victorious in the latest meeting in 2013.
* Western Oregon has only won twice under Arne Ferguson against CWU, a record of 2-8.
* Central Washington won 14 straight matchups from 2002 to 2011.
