(McMINNVILLE, Ore. ) — Reigning Northwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year Emily Fellows (Sr., Portland, Ore.) has picked up right where she left off, earning the first NWC Women's Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week award of the season.
Fellows scored the game-winning goal to lead the Wildcats to a 2-1 season-opening victory over Northwest Christian in Eugene, Ore., on Saturday.
She headed the ball off the post and into the net in the 71st minute for her 72nd career goal, extending her own Wildcats' record.
This is the 13th career weekly honor for Fellows, who has been named the league's top offensive player three times during her time as a Wildcat.
