(September 15, 2014, 11:31 am) REEDSPORT, Ore. Water monitoring has confirmed the presence of high levels of cyanotoxins produced by blue-green algae. These dangerous toxin concentrations in the water can be harmful to humans and animals.
The Oregon Health Authority issued a health advisory on Monday due to high levels of blue-green algae in Tenmile Lakes, located eight miles south of Reedsport off U.S. Highway 101 in Coos County.
