University Instructor Arrested for Public Indecency

A visiting Spanish instructor at Willamette University was arrested by Salem Police Detectives on February 11 and charged with Public Indecency. The instructor, 33-year old Antonio Martin-Ledesma, is from Seville, Spain, but has been instructing Spanish classes at Willamette University for the past two years.

After moving up one spot this week, the Willamette University women's cross country team is now ranked #9 in the NCAA Division III Poll, as released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Oct. 15.

The Willamette University women's cross country team moved up two positions this week to grab the #10 ranking in the NCAA Division III Poll released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Oct. 8. The women's team remained #1 in the West Region.

In its final game of the weekend, Willamette University's women's soccer team ran into a high-powered squad from Linfield College with the Bearcats falling 2-0 Sunday in Northwest Conference action on Sparks Field.

Carthage College downed Willamette University, 2-0, in a men's soccer game on Monday at Art Keller Field.
