The Marion County Sheriff's Office, Cold Case Squad, is requesting the public's help in identifying a Hispanic male, whose decomposing body was found by fishermen in the area of Horseshoe Lake, near St. Paul, Oregon on October 25, 1986.
Oregon State Police tell us they are investigating a crash at milepost 267 on I-5 southbound with blockage. The northbound lanes of travel are not affected. According to the OSP Northern Command Center, the Marion County Sheriff's Office began getting reports of a vehicle going the wrong way on I-5, northbound in the southbound lanes, at approximately milepost 264.
This morning two cars collided and caused at least one death, according to Oregon State Police. All Southbound lanes are closed until OSP can complete the investigation. Police are diverting traffic off I-5 South at Woodburn, exit 270. We will bring more on this as soon as police release it.
The Marion Co. Sheriff's Office has confirmed that a 13 year old boy was struck and killed by a passenger train tonight near Gervais. Some where around the area of 4th Street and Alder Street the boy was struck by the train while walking on the tracks.
Woodburn police arrested Pedro Gonzalez-Espinoza, 19, of Woodburn, after responding to a fight in the 300 block of Baylor Street in Woodburn on Oct. 4 at 5:19 p.m. Witnesses reported a firearm had been seen pointed at people.
