Linn County Sheriff's  detectives served a search warrant at an Oregon State University dormitory following an investigation of child pornography.
Philipp Jean Bardenheier, a 19-year old Environmental Engineering student from California, is a resident at Buxton Hall Dormitory.

The annual mean temperature in the Pacific Northwest has warmed by about 1.3 degrees Fahrenheit since the early 20th century – a gradual warming trend that has been accelerating over the past 3-4 decades and is attributed to anthropogenic, or human, causes.

Beavers Marshall Named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week in Volleyball
(September 1, 2014, 6:15 pm) CORVALLIS, Ore. Mary-Kate Marshall is the first Pac-12 Freshman of the week for the Beavers since senior Arica Nassar earned the spot Oct. 31, 2011.

After finishing her first weekend of collegiate volleyball with 51 kills and helping her team to a sweep of the Utah State Invitational, Mary-Kate Marshall was named the first Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for the 2014 season.
