House Fire Destroys Home
Two people are displaced from the fire
(SALEM, Ore) — The Sundial Manufactured Home Park was the scene of a fire today where two people lost there home.
Around 2:30 this afternoon a fire broke out at the rear of a house in space 321 and quickly spread to the whole house.
The two people inside were able to escape safely, however the male did have minor burns to his face.
Salem Fire battled high winds as they fought this fire, but was able to bring it under control before it made its way to other structures.
A neighbor told Salem News Journal that the male was smoking meat at the rear of his home when the smoker tipped over.
The house appears to be a total loss.
Salem Fire was on scene until after 5:30 pm mopping up the scene.
