Fatal Crash on Cordon Road

(SALEM, Ore) — Deputies are on scene and investigating a two vehicle car crash on Cordon Road NE near Ward Drive NE.

The crash has claimed the life of one driver and critically injured another.

Investigators do not believe there were any other occupants in either vehicle at the time of the crash.

The Sheriff's Office CRASH Team is responding to the scene.

Cordon Road will remain closed between Herrin Road NE and Ward Drive NE, drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
