A truck hauling a load of hay has crashed on Hazelgreen Green Road NE near the intersection with Cordon Road NE in Salem.
Police said two men had boat trouble as they were in the Siuslaw River, and rowed to a dock where they secured their aluminum drift boat.

An 81-year-old man from Florence has been arrested after he fired a shotgun at two fishermen, and their boat along the Oregon Coast on Monday.

Oregon State Police are continuing their investigation into Monday evening's two vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of Highway 34 and Seven Mile Lane east of Interstate 5 in Linn County that turned fatal when a passenger died at an area hospital.
Two people were injured in the five vehicle chain reaction crash.

The investigation so far as found that 63-year-old Christopher Wallace of Mill City, was traveling east on Kingwood Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle near the intersection of Gates School Road.

Linn County Sheriff’s Deputies are continuing to investigate a fatal motor vehicle crash Saturday in the 50000 block of Kingwood Avenue near Gates, Oregon.
Firefighters from Washington County Fire District 2 and Hillsboro Fire Department responded to the scene just after 7:30 a.m., and found two young adults entrapped in the vehicle.

Washington County officials are posting temporary warning signs in the Sain Creek area of Henry Hagg Lake on Monday with permanent signs to be posted later this week as part of a comprehensive effort aimed at emphasizing safety.
The permanent signs, in English and Spanish, will caution visitors to Scoggins Valley Park to "wear a life vest" and warn about "steep drop offs" that may not be immediately visible under the water's surface.
