Sunday at 12:55 p.m., Portland Fire and Rescue responded to an apartment fire at 7820 SE Aspen Summit Drive.
The home sustained minor fire damage, and no injuries were reported.

First arriving crews found fire in dry grass and brush, and as the fire spread, caught a power pole on fire.

A remote control jet plane crash Saturday afternoon caused a one acre brush fire in Forest Grove.

Corvallis Police say an uncontained wildfire in the north Corvallis area has led them to issue a mandatory evacuation order for an area in the northern portion of Corvallis and Benton County.
