Teddy Stivahtis, the suspect in a homicide in Gresham and two bank robberies in the metro area, was taken into custody today by police. The Portland Police Bureau took him into custody without incident after contacting him at the Burlingame Fred Meyer on Barbur Blvd at around 3:45 p.m. today. Gresham Detectives are en route to interviewing him tonight regarding the homicide
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Teddy Stivahtis, Jr., charged in the October 13, 2014, robbery of a Chase Bank in Canby. Agents have charged Stivahtis, via criminal complaint, with one federal count of bank robbery.
