FBI Offers up to a $10,000 Reward in Bank Robbery

— The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Teddy Stivahtis, Jr., charged in the October 13, 2014, robbery of a Chase Bank in Canby.

Agents have charged Stivahtis, via criminal complaint, with one federal count of bank robbery.

According to the criminal complaint, Stivahtis walked into the bank branch, which sits inside a Fred Meyer store located at 1401 SE First Avenue in Canby, at about 2:22 pm.

He approached the teller desk, demanded cash, received an undisclosed amount of money, and left.

It is unknown what kind of vehicle, if any, he used to leave the scene.

No weapon was seen during the course of the robbery.

Gresham Police Department has named Stivahtis as a suspect in the October 10, 2014, stabbing death of Deanna Stivahtis, his aunt.

The sispects description is, white male, age 36, 5'9", 165 pounds, hazel or blue eyes short brown hair, with multiple tattoos on his neck, back and arms.

Stivahtis should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Anyone who believes they are in close proximity to Stivahtis should call 911.
