UPDATE: Two Suspects Caught after Pedestrian Attack on Burnside Bridge

When officers arrived, they located two male victims who told police that they were robbed, and attacked on the bridge by two men.

— Portland Police Central Precinct officers say two suspects have been arrested after an attack Friday morning on the west end of the Burnside Bridge in Portland.

Officers responded to the report of a disturbance involving four individuals around 2:15 a.m., and one caller reported that two men were “naked and bloody.”

When officers arrived, they located two male victims who told police that they were robbed, and attacked on the bridge by two men.

They told officers, that one of the suspects was armed with a box cutter, and used it to cut one of the victims, after demanding all of the victims property and clothes.

None of the victims received any serious injuries police said.

The suspects fled to below the Burnside Bridge, but were located and arrested by officers.

Officers said the suspects appear to be local transients, while the victims were passersby.

UPDATE: 10:15 a.m.:

The suspects in this morning's robbery have been identified as 27-year-old Benjamin Timothy Moore and 26-year-old James Wooten.

Wooten was charged with four counts of Robbery in the First Degree and two counts of Assault in the Second Degree.

Moore was charged with two counts of Robbery in the First Degree and one count of Assault in the Second Degree.

Wooten and Moore were booked into the Multnomah County Jail and will be arraigned on Monday in Multnomah County Court.
