Marion County Sheriff's Office says they were called to a home invasion robbery on Coon Hollow Road SE near Sublimity. Investigators said they believe two men entered the home, tied up the residents and robbed them of their valuables.
Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office say they are seeking tips to help identify a man captured in a surveillance image from June 13th. The man, seen here, is currently wanted for questioning related to a vandalism and burglary investigation.

Late Sunday morning a local bar and grill owner was robbed of money that is used to pay Lottery tickets after causing a distraction. Liz Resch, owner of the West Side Station, in West Salem, told Salem News Journal a man, about 25 to 35 years old, five ft. eight, chunky, with blue eyes, was dropped off in the parking lot from an older cream or gold colored car.
A shooting took place in a Keizer street today, with children playing all around, and sending one man to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The caller reported a shooting had just occurred in the 3600 block of Brooks Avenue NE.
At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, local dog boarding facility, The Dog Bark, was burglarized and all the canine guests were released. Responding officers arrived to find a shattered window and an open door. Nearly a dozen of the 26 dogs boarded at the facility escaped outside.

A man robbed the Jackson’s Jewelers in down town Salem of a $12,000 ring back on February 6, and the Salem Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect. He entered the store at approximately 2:10 pm on that Tuesday, and engaged the clerk in conversation asking to see several rings.
Albany Police responded to an armed robbery at Go Wireless, located at 1365 Clay Street SE, Albany, Oregon. The suspects forced a female employee to open a safe and took several large bags of an undisclosed amount of property, then fled the scene in a vehicle.
