Marion County Sheriff's Office Seeking Tips in Early Morning Robbery
(SALEM, Ore.) — A Plaid Pantry employee had a frightening encounter early Sunday when a man entered the store, went behind the counter and pointed a small black handgun then demanded money.
The clerk complied with the man and he fled on foot toward 47th Avenue NE from the 4600 block of Silverton Rd with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as an adult, Hispanic male, who was average height and build.
He was wearing a black bandana that covered his face, a navy blue stocking cap, orange sweat shirt, black and green shoes, black and white gloves and black pants.
