Portland State junior goalkeeper Caitlin Plese has been named the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week following her performance in the Vikings' 1-0 win over Oregon last weekend, the conference announced Tuesday.

(September 16, 2014, 7:00 pm) SALEM, Ore. Ostrander won the individual title in a dual meet with the University of Alaska-Anchorage in Chugiak, Alaska, on Sept. 11.

Taylor Ostrander (Jr., Kenai, AK/Kenai Central HS) of Willamette University has been selected as the Northwest Conference Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Sept. 14.

Morgan Mahalak, the UO freshman quarterback, runs the scout-team offense along with Ty Griffin. With No. 2 Oregon preparing to play at Washington State on Saturday, the two will be throwing a ton of balls this week to prepare the Ducks’ defense for the nation’s most prolific passing offense.
