Salem Police Detectives are asking for assistance from the public as they search for 66-year old Virgie Mae Henry. At 9:46 PM this evening, Marion County Fire District No. 1 was dispatched to a reported residential fire at 638 Lancaster Drive NE, near Durbin Avenue SE. Upon arrival, initial crews discovered a fully involved house fire that was immediately threatening the neighbors home that was approximately 10 feet away. The incident commander upgraded the incident to a second alarm bring additional firefighters to the scene to help suppress the fire and protect the neighboring home.
