Traffic Stop Leads to Discovery of 52 lbs of Marijuana
Washington Man Arrested
(October 21, 2014, 6:36 pm) TUALATIN, Ore

A Seattle, Washington man was arrested Tuesday morning after an Oregon State Police senior trooper discovered approximately 52 pounds of marijuana inside a vehicle during a traffic stop on Interstate 5 near Tualatin.

Milwaukie Police-Clackamas County Major Crimes Team Investigate Suspicious Death
An autopsy conducted today indicated the victim died of homicidal violence

Yesterday, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Milwaukie Police were dispatched to 2204 SE Bluebird Street in Milwaukie to assist medical personnel. A subject at the scene was later pronounced deceased. Milwaukie Police Detectives and the Clackamas County Major Crimes team responded and are currently investigating.

Pedestrian Involved Traffic Crash (Video)

The Oregon State Police are continuing their investigation into Monday afternoon's pedestrian-involved collision that occurred on Highway 99E near Hayesville Drive NE just north of Salem. The pedestrian received minor injury and no citations have been issued at this time

Fatal Traffic Crash Interstate 84 near Boardman

Oregon State Police are continuing their investigation into Monday morning's multi-vehicle collision on the westbound lanes of Interstate 84 near Boardman that resulted in the death of an 80-year old man.

Fatal Crash Takes Three Lives
(October 19, 2014, 1:49 pm) BLACK BUTE, Ore

The operator of the Dodge Caliber,Tiffany Fefelov, age 27, her husband Fred Fefelov, age 34, and their daughter Mila Fefelov, age 7 months, from Sherwood, all suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. The operator of the Suburban, Francis Hart, age 78, and his wife, Sally Hart, age 77, from Salem, were uninjured in the crash.

Fatal Traffic Crash Interstate 5 near Wolf Creek

Initial investigation indicates a 2004 BMW sport utility vehicle driven by Adelina Teresa Barrera, age 80, from Tigard, was southbound on Interstate 5 when, for an unconfirmed reason, it traveled at a high rate of speed onto the shoulder though a grassy field and into a wooded area.

Investigators Seize Drugs in Clackamas County
(October 18, 2014, 1:17 am) HAPPY VALLEY, Ore

On Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, investigators with the Clackamas County Interagency Task Force served search warrants at 10535 SE 86th Ave. in unincorporated Clackamas County. The search warrants were the culmination of an investigation into the alleged unlawful distribution of cocaine, crack cocaine and prescription pills.

The Happy Valley Police is investigating a report of an unknown male attempting to lure a 10-year-old child into his red Toyota truck with a license plate containing the letters XQZ. Tips are sought. The male told the girl that her mother was in the hospital and that he was supposed to pick her up.

FBI Seek Public's Help Identifying Suspected Three Time Bank Robber
Salem, Eugene and Cottage Grove Banks Hit in Two Days

A man suspected in two bank robberies on Thursday, October 16, 2014, is now suspected in a third robbery, this time in Cottage Grove, Oregon. The Friday, October 17, 2014, robbery occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank branch inside the Safeway store located at 1500 E. Main in Cottage Grove at about 2:45 pm.

On Wednesday, October 15, Salem Police Chief Jerry Moore announced the promotion of Lt. Skip Miller to the position of Deputy Chief. Deputy Chief Miller is a 17-year veteran of the department, having started his law enforcement career in 1997.

OSP Traffic Stop Leads to Discovery of 4 lbs of Marijuana, Arrest of 2 Men Including Texas Fugitive

An Oregon State Police traffic stop Wednesday in the Eugene Springfield area led to the arrest of two people following the discovery of approximately 4 pounds of marijuana. One of the men was wanted out of Texas for felony marijuana related charges.

Conrad Engweiler in prison for the 1990 sexual assault and murder of his 16 year old Sunset High School classmate, was released on parole early this morning. Engweiler, who strangled Erin Tonna Reynolds when he was 15, has served about 24 years and eight 8 in custody.

Fire Heavily Damages Truck and Hay Loaded Trailers

FBI Offers up to a $10,000 Reward in Bank Robbery

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Teddy Stivahtis, Jr., charged in the October 13, 2014, robbery of a Chase Bank in Canby. Agents have charged Stivahtis, via criminal complaint, with one federal count of bank robbery.

Early this morning, deputies from the Hood County Sheriff's Office spotted Alexey's vehicle and located both Andrey and Alexey in a campground outside of Hood River. Both are safe. At this time no charges are being filed against Alexey Voronenko in relation to this case.

On October 14, 2014, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Vancouver Police issued an Amber Alert in an attempt to locate Andrey Voronenko, 10.  Andrey's father, Alexey Voronenko, 38, picked him up from Mill Plain Elementary School in Vancouver, Wa around 2:30 p.m.
