In a non-conference contest Saturday at Sparks Field, Willamette University tied the program's single-game record for goals in an 11-0 victory over Multnomah University (Ore.).

Lady Warriors Dominate Northwestern College, 3-1
(September 14, 2014, 4:00 am) SALT LAKE CITY, Utah By halftime, the shot count was in favor of Corban, 8-0, while the Warriors also held the advantage in corner kicks, 8-1.

With freshman midfielder Alanna Robinson (Sagle, Idaho) leading the way, the Corban University Warriors dominated Northwestern College (Iowa) on Saturday afternoon as a part of the Westminster Invitational, 3-1.

Marion County Sheriff's Office Donates Old Uniform Pants to Homeless
(September 12, 2014, 2:42 pm) SALEM, Ore. The pants are a design that anyone could purchase, and they do not have any names, ranks, insignias or any markings that alone could be mistaken as a deputy sheriff's uniform.

In a recent clean-up effort, members of the Marion County Sheriff's Office Community Resource Unit found 14 boxes of uniform items that were scheduled to be destroyed.

The Marion County Board of Commissioners will consider additional amendments to the county noise ordinance at their regular Board Session on Wednesday, September 17.

Willamette Women, Alaska-Anchorage Men Win Dual Competition
(September 12, 2014, 12:05 am) CHUGIAK, Alaska The WU women's team, tied for #7 in the NCAA Division III Preseason Poll, earned a score of 25. Anchorage, which competes in NCAA Division II, achieved a score of 31.

Willamette University won the women's race and the University of Alaska-Anchorage prevailed in the men's race, in a cross country dual meet on Thursday at Beach Lake Trails.

Bearcats Earn Forfeit Victory Over Carthage
(September 12, 2014, 12:02 am) SALEM, Ore. Originally, the Bearcats were defeated by Carthage, 2-0, but Wednesday's decision reversed the final outcome giving Willamette a 1-0 victory.

Following a decision by the NCAA, Willamette University was awarded a victory via forfeit over Carthage College (Wisc.) due to the Red Men using an ineligible player in its first two contests of the season.
